For our guests, arrival at our hotel is possible from 3 pm, while we ask you to vacate the room by 11 am on the day of your departure. Our reception is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm. For an arrival after 10 pm, please call us on the day of arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Coming from the A20, take the exit "Stralsund / Insel Rügen" and follow the feeder road to the exit "Stralsund Altstadt / Burger King". Turn left onto Greifswalder Chaussee and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout into "Karl-Marx-Straße". Follow this to the next roundabout and take the 1st exit to "Frankenwall". After the bus stop, turn left into "Marienchorstraße" and follow this until you reach "Neuer Markt". You will already see the Hotel Schweriner Hof Stralsund on the left-hand side. We are happy to provide you with a baby cot free of charge for your stay. Please let us know when booking or at the latest before your arrival so that we can prepare this for you. However, please note that availability is limited and in rare cases it may happen that all baby cots are already occupied.
We offer our guests various payment options to ensure your comfort. With us, you can settle your bill in cash or pay with your EC card. In addition, we accept major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
We provide our guests with the possibility to park their bicycles in our backyard. Please note that the backyard is locked from 22:00 to 6:00 and is under video surveillance to ensure the safety of the bicycles. We recommend that you take appropriate security precautions. We accept no liability for any damage or loss.
Our breakfast restaurant opens daily from 7 am to 10 am and offers a varied breakfast buffet. Please note that pets are not allowed in the breakfast room. The price for the buffet is 14,50€ per person. For children aged 4 to 11 years we charge a reduced price of 8€, while children up to 3 years can have breakfast free of charge. Enjoy a successful start to the day and let yourself be spoilt by our rich offer.
After careful consideration, we have decided not to allow pets in our hotel as a matter of principle. This is to ensure an allergen-free environment and to maintain high standards of hygiene. The unpredictable behaviour and possibly also the loudness of pets could interfere with the stay of other guests. We fully understand that pets are loyal companions for many people. Exceptions to this rule are companion dogs of visually impaired guests and dogs of long-time regular guests.
The Hotel Schweriner Hof is a very centrally located hotel in Stralsund. As we unfortunately do not have our own parking facilities available, we offer our guests alternative parking options nearby. There are 3 options in total:
1. there is a car park in front of the door, which is free of charge from 6 - 9 pm (November to March 4 - 9 pm). The parking time during the day is a maximum of 3 hours. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the left half (as seen from the hotel) is closed from 6 a.m. due to the weekly market.
2. the public car park "Contipark" at Frankenwall is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel. We offer our guests parking cards for this car park, with which you can use the car park at any time without having to pay again each time you leave. The parking fees are conveniently written on the room bill. EUR 12.00 is charged per night. Unfortunately, reservations are not possible.
3. Free parking is available in the street "August-Bebel-Ufer", which is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel at the Frankenteich. Please follow the signs on site, as there are also residents' parking spaces there.
We are sure that you will find a convenient option to park your vehicle and enjoy your stay with us.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of our hotel. We ask our guests to be considerate of non-smokers and to smoke only in the designated smoking area: Ashtrays are available on our roof terrace on the 3rd floor.
Room cleaning takes place daily until 15:00, while in high season it may take until 18:00. Please note that cleaning in the morning cannot be guaranteed. We offer you the option of a red "Do Not Disturb" sign or a green "Cleaning" sign on your door.
As part of our environmentally conscious measures, you also have the option to forgo daily cleaning. Hygiene articles will nevertheless be provided in sufficient quantities.
We offer snacks, drinks & hygiene products around the clock in the vending machine, which is located on the 2nd floor. You have the possibility to pay cash with coins and notes as well as contactless with your EC or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express). Please note that identification is required for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. The vending machine is under video surveillance.
For rooms booked directly (on site, by telephone, by e-mail or via our website schweriner-hof.de) we offer a free cancellation up to 3 days before arrival. Cancellations made after this date will incur a charge of 80% of the booking price in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions. We recommend that our guests contact us early in the event of any changes to travel plans in order to avoid possible costs. For cancellations of rooms booked through portals (Booking.com, HRS, Expedia...), please do not contact us but the portal directly.
We offer our guests free Wi-Fi in all areas of the hotel. Our Wi-Fi offers a speed of up to 300 Mbps.
