Our service-guide
We are pleased to welcome you to our hotel in Stralsund! Our goal is to offer you a pleasant and relaxing stay. We have compiled important information for you to make your stay even more pleasant. If you have any questions or requests, we are personally available daily from 7 am to 10 pm at the reception. You can also reach us by phone at 03831 288 480 or info@schweriner-hof.de.
Upon request, we will be happy to provide allergy pillows. Please contact the reception for this purpose.
We will gladly provide you with a baby crib free of charge for your stay. Please let us know when booking or at the latest before your arrival so that we can prepare this for you. However, please note that availability is limited and in rare cases it may happen that all baby cribs are already occupied.
You have the possibility to conveniently park your bikes in our backyard. The backyard is locked at night and secured by video surveillance. Nevertheless, for safety reasons, we ask you to lock your bike to the designated racks for additional protection. If you would like to rent bikes, the closest rental would be: Fahrrad Wollmann, Knieperdamm 45, 18435 Stralsund.
Our breakfast restaurant opens daily from 7 am to 10 am and offers a varied breakfast buffet. Please note that pets are not allowed in the breakfast room. The price for the buffet is 14,50€ per person. For children aged 4 to 11 years we charge a reduced price of 8€, while children up to 3 years can have breakfast for free.
Room cleaning is provided daily until 15:00, while in high season it may take until 18:00 if necessary. Please note that morning cleaning cannot be guaranteed. We offer the option of placing a red "Do Not Disturb" sign or a green "Cleaning" sign on your door.
As part of our environmentally conscious measures, you also have the option to forgo daily cleaning. Hygiene items will still be provided in sufficient quantities.
We ask you to vacate the room by 11 am on the day of your departure. Our reception is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm.
For your additional comfort we are happy to offer you an extra blanket. If you feel the need for another blanket during your stay, do not hesitate to inform our reception staff.

In your room you will find free shampoo, shower gel and body lotion. If you have additional needs, please contact our reception staff. Furthermore, toothbrush, toothpaste, tampons, razors and other hygiene items are available in our vending machine on the 2nd floor, next to the elevator.
We are happy to provide you with an ironing board and an iron free of charge. Please simply contact the reception for this.
Once a week we change your complete linen free of charge, including bed linen and towels. If you want a change of your towels in between, please put them on the floor. If you need new bed linen, please just contact the reception and we will take care of it.
You are welcome to have your purses and valuables safely stored in our central safe. For this service, please contact our reception staff, who will be happy to assist you.
The Hotel Schweriner Hof is a very centrally located hotel in Stralsund. Unfortunately, we do not have our own parking facilities available, so we offer our guests alternative parking options nearby. There are 3 options in total:
1. there is a parking lot in front of the door, which is free of charge from 6 - 9 pm (November to March 4 - 9 pm). The parking time during the day is maximum 3 hours. On Tuesdays and Fridays, due to the weekly market, the left half (as seen from the hotel) is closed from 6 am.
2. the public parking garage "Contipark" at Frankenwall is only 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. We offer our guests parking cards for this parking garage, with which you can use the parking garage at any time without having to pay again at each exit. The parking fees are conveniently written on the room bill. Per night EUR 10,90 (November to March EUR 6,90) will be charged. Unfortunately, a reservation is not possible.
3. free parking can be found in the street "August-Bebel-Ufer", this is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel at the Frankenteich. Please pay attention to the signs on site, as there are also residents' parking spaces there.

We offer our guests various payment options to ensure your comfort. With us you can settle your bill in cash or pay with your EC card. In addition, we accept major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
If needed, you are welcome to use the telephone at our reception free of charge. Our friendly staff is at your disposal to make or receive calls. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need help or want information.
We greatly respect your wish for privacy. In order for us to fully satisfy this, we ask that you place the "Do not disturb" sign on the outside of your room door. You will find the sign on the wardrobe in your room.

There is a shoe shine machine on the 1st and 2nd floor near the elevator. You can use this to freshen up and care for your shoes.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas in our hotel. We ask our guests to be considerate of non-smokers and to smoke only in the designated smoking area: Ashtrays are available on our roof terrace on the 3rd floor.
We offer snacks, drinks & toiletries around the clock in the vending machine, which is located on the 2nd floor. You have the possibility to pay cash with coins and bills as well as contactless with your EC or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express). Please note that identification is required for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. The vending machine is under video surveillance.
From 7:00 am we offer you our wake-up service. You can rely on us to wake you up punctually and reliably at your desired time.
We offer our guests free Wi-Fi in all areas of the hotel. Our WLAN offers a speed of up to 300 Mbps. The network is called "Schweriner Hof". A password is not necessary.
